This is your USD News Minute.

This month kicks off Research Month here at USD. It’s an annual opportunity to showcase the diversity of research topics and projects at the university. Throughout the month of April, a variety of events will be taking place across campus. For more information, visit the link.

Friday is the deadline to apply for President for a Day. The winner will trade places with President James Harris on May 9th for an exciting day for both you and President Harris as he walks a day in your shoes. Don’t miss out, sign up now.

This weekend, cheer on USD Men’s and Women’s Rowing as they compete in the San Diego Crew Classic. The two-day event on Mission Bay brings together thousands of athletes. Click the link for more information.

And last week, a group of Toreros led by alum Kevin Petti, witnessed the uniqueness, beauty, and spirituality of Holy Week in Italy. The group visited many Franciscan sites, including Easter Sunday Mass at the Basilica of Saint Anthony.
