What Happened at The Brink in 2021?

Here's our 2021 wrap up.

Our team at The Brink SBDC would like to thank you for a wonderful year. As 2021 comes to a close, we would like to share some accomplishments from this year:

1. The Brink clients raised over $75 million
2. The Brink welcomed 143 new clients
3. The Brink consultant and staff team delivered over 2,000 hours of advising and 200 hours of training and office hours
4. The Brink moved into a temporary office, Durango Suite A & B, at the west side of the University of San Diego’s campus

The Brink plans on opening part of our office to entrepreneurs as a co-working space with rooms for meetings.

5. The Knauss Center for Business Education is under construction and scheduled to be completed in August 2022 (The Brink will have an office here in 2022)

Don Knauss, chair of USD's Board of Trustees, and his wife, Ellie, have generously agreed to increase their philanthropic giving to the university to $50 million as their investment in educating ethical and compassionate business leaders. The Knauss Center for Business Education will be an unparalleled place for learning and innovation in the heart of the University of San Diego’s beautiful campus. It will also be the home of the Brink SBDC office and community space.
