Kroc School Ranked Among Best Universities Fighting Human Trafficking
The Kroc School has been recognized as one of the 26 best universities in the United States that is studying and fighting human trafficking. Focusing on human trafficking in San Diego, the Kroc School's Professor Ami Carpenter has completed a research study called "The Nature and Extent of Gang Involvement in Sex Trafficking in San Diego County." The study has shed light to sex trafficking prevention efforts in San Diego. In addition to this study, the Kroc School and the University of San Diego recently launched Partners Against Exploitation (PAX) which seeks to raise awareness to the prevention of human trafficking.
