This is your USD News Minute.

The USD community joins in prayer for George Floyd, and stands in solidarity with all who are impacted by racism and violence. In a campus-wide message, President Harris invited the university community to join a virtual prayer service hosted by University Ministry on Tuesday, June 2, at 7:00 p.m. to affirm our faith, support our community and direct us towards healing.

During this time, Toreros continue to come together in inspiring ways to help those in need. One nonprofit started by a USD alumnus is helping local refugees to successfully adjust to life in the US. And another Kroc School alumnus is securing critical blood donations during the pandemic. You can find these and many more stories on the Toreros Together website.

Also remember to visit the Torero Blueprint site as the university prepares to re-open campus in mid-August. All information regarding our six-part plan will be found there in the coming weeks and months.
