Carol Enright
Carol Enright is the founder and leader of Parish Nurse/Health Ministries Services at Holy Spirit Parish in Lexington, Kentucky. She graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Evanston, Illinois and received her BA in Psychology and Philosophy in 1989, BSN in 1998, and MSN in 2000 from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Her graduate work in the Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist program centered on Parish Nursing. Carol attended the Clinical Pastoral Education Program at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and continues as a Catholic Chaplain at UK.

Ms. Enright has worked in orthopedics, medical-surgical nursing, and pediatrics in the Chicago area, and as an oncology nurse at the UK Markey Cancer Center in Lexington.

Carol established and was the founding President of the Margaret T. Stoeckinger Foundation, which promotes and funds Parish Nursing/Health Ministry in the Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky. Ms. Enright continues as a board member.

As a member of the Catholic Conference of Kentucky, Bread for the World, and Central Kentucky Council for Peace and Justice she advocates for the rights of the poor, the elderly, and the disenfranchised. She has volunteered with Hospice of the Bluegrass and as a nurse at an inner city mission.
