College is all about broadening one’s horizons, exploring new ideas, discovering the richness and beauty of different perspectives. But, especially at a Catholic university, it’s also about going deeper — getting clarity on our core values, growing in our faith, discerning our purpose and vocation, gaining insight into the people God has created us to be and who we are called to become.
Finding Joy
Inside and outside of the classroom, USD students have countless opportunities to dive deep, to consider big questions about the meaning of life, to grow in their relationship with God, to know themselves better, to prepare not just for a job, but for a meaningful, joyful life.
On the Search Retreat or Half-Time, during a study abroad experience, while attending the Candlelight Mass, through a conversation with a professor during office hours, while being inspired at the All Faith Service, while quietly enjoying the beauty of campus, or while talking with friends over coffee, USD students are invited to reflect deeply on where they are experiencing God and to grow in their spirituality.
