This is your USD News Minute.

Play ball! USD leaders recently cut the ribbon on the brand new Reggie Smith Softball Complex. This week is your chance to see it up close. Come for the grand opening this Saturday – a game against Santa Clara. Students get in free, and the first 40 students will get a free crew neck sweater. Don’t miss it!

Shine a spotlight on members of the USD community who lift up others. Nominate students and staff for the Office of the Tribal Liaison’s “You are the Medicine” program. Four students and four staff members will be selected and recognized as being the “medicine” our campus needs to stay healthy and whole. Nominate someone by the deadline tomorrow using the link below.

Congratulations to President Harris, and USD Board of Trustees members Darlene Marcos Shiley, Timothy Scott, Tom Lupfer and Lisa Bicker Martin. They were all selected as this year’s Nonprofit Board Leaders of Influence by The San Diego Business Journal.
