This is your USD News Minute.
If you want to be more involved in the USD community and beyond, don’t miss out on the Alcalá Bazaar taking place tomorrow from 12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Paseo de Colachis. The event is held at the beginning of each semester featuring more than 200 involvement opportunities.
USD Votes will be tabling at the event and also at the Constitution Day Right To Vote event from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. that same day. In fact our student engagement around voting over the past years has earned USD a Silver Seal for our nonpartisan democratic engagement efforts during the 2022 midterm election. The recognition is part of The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge.
In an effort to continue this momentum, USD created the Toreros Together for the Common Good website. On the site you can find events on campus that will help educate and engage students in topics around civil discourse, and the many aspects of civic life and issues facing our communities. Click on the link for more information.
As always, thank you for watching, we’ll see you next week.
