USD Launches New Torero Hub Website

The University of San Diego is excited to announce the launch of the new Torero Hub website which houses all the non-academic resources and support services available to USD's new and current undergraduate, transfer and graduate students.

The Torero Hub website brings together resources from four previously separate sites – the One Stop Student Center, New Toreros, Transfer Students, and Current Students – into a single, comprehensive platform. This integration aims to make it easier for students and their families to find the information and assistance they need, all in one convenient location.

At the heart of the Torero Hub is the Torero Connect Counselor (TCC) program. Each new undergraduate and transfer student will be assigned a dedicated TCC, a non-academic staff member who will work closely with them to navigate questions, resolve non-academic issues, and connect them with the appropriate campus resources. The Torero Connect Counselors will play a crucial role in helping new students feel supported and empowered to succeed. By getting to know each student personally, the TCCs will work to “level the playing field” and ensure that everyone has access to the information and support they need.

In addition to information about the TCC program, the new Torero Hub website features a tightly integrated Knowledge Base, powered by Salesforce. Over 200 Knowledge Base entries have been created or updated as part of the website launch, providing students with a comprehensive resource for answers to their questions.

The Torero Hub website is now live and available to all USD students, both new and returning. By bringing together all of these important resources in one place virtually, USD is confident that it can provide an even more seamless and supportive experience for its students.
