The Knauss School of Business at the University of San Diego is pleased to announce that it has successfully earned a 5-year reaccreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for all business and accounting programs, representing the highest standard of quality and placing Knauss among the top 6.2% of business schools worldwide.

“We are extremely proud that AACSB International has once again reaccredited the Knauss School of Business,” said Tim Keane, PhD, dean of the Knauss School of Business. “This is a testament to the remarkable collaborative efforts of our faculty, staff and administration, who are committed to the highest levels of excellence and innovation in our teaching, learning and research.”

Accreditation is earned by meeting or exceeding the AACSB’s standards for excellence in degree programs, faculty research, teaching and community service, along with a commitment to continuous advancement and development. During this multiyear path, schools focus on developing and implementing a plan to achieve their mission and align with AACSB’s accreditation standards. These principles-based standards require excellence in areas relating to strategic management and innovation, research, and teaching and learning.

AACSB International announced the reaccreditation on July 3, 2034. USD’s Knauss School of Business has been accredited since 1980 for all business programs and since 1999 for accounting. Today, AACSB has 1,026 accredited institutions in over 65 countries and territories and 194 institutions with AACSB accreditation for accounting programs.
