Emily Edmonds-Poli, professor of political science and international relations at USD, joined "At the Edge of it All" to discuss Mexico holding the largest election in its history. On June 2, 2024, Mexicans will go to the polls to elect a new president, a new congress, nine governors, and over 20,000 state and local offices.

With more eligible voters than ever before (including 2 million residing outside of Mexico), and for the first time ever, two female candidates leading the presidential race, Dr. Edmonds-Poli discusses how this round of elections has the potential to change the face of Mexican politics.
