Two English majors, Abigail Hinrichs and Camille Torre, presented their Keck Humanities Undergraduate Research Fellows research projects at the Interdisciplinary Humanities Research Colloquium on April 30, 2024, in the Humanities Center.

The Interdisciplinary Humanities Research Colloquium was a joint discussion of student final projects from the Interdisciplinary Humanities HUMN 495 class and the Keck Humanities Undergraduate Research Fellows independent study. Seniors in the Interdisciplinary Humanities major presented their final capstone projects and the Keck Humanities Undergraduate Research Fellows presented their year-long research projects. The program was split into two sessions followed by a Q&A. Each speaker had 10 minutes for their presentation.

Over an academic year and alongside a faculty advisor, Keck Undergraduate Humanities Research Fellows conduct original research, scholarly activities and/or creative work that advances the interdisciplinary humanities. Students interested in being Keck fellows should identify a faculty member and topic of interest and develop the project proposal in collaboration with the faculty mentor.

Congratulations to both Abigail and Camille on the completion of their Keck Humanities Undergraduate Research Fellowship!
