Four USD School of Law Alumni Serving on San Diego Federal Bar Association Board

Federal Bar Association

SAN DIEGO (January 26, 2023) – Four University of San Diego (USD) School of Law alumni are currently serving on the 2023 Federal Bar Association, San Diego Chapter's Board of Directors. The Federal Bar Association (FBA), founded in 1920, is dedicated to the advancement of the science of jurisprudence and to promoting the welfare, interests, education, and professional development of all attorneys involved in federal law. The FBA is the catalyst for communication between the bar and the bench, as well as the private and public sectors.

The current San Diego Federal Bar Association Board of Directors includes the following USD School of Law alumni:

Dylan Aste also serves on the USD School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors and shared, “I am very grateful for the fantastic education I received at USD Law and the entryway it gave me to the San Diego legal community. USD Law provided me with leadership skills that have helped me throughout my career and while serving on the San Diego FBA Board of Directors.”

The San Diego Chapter of the Federal Bar Association was founded in 1961 and adopted the following Mission Statement in 2018:

To serve the interests of the federal legal community and strengthen the quality of the federal legal profession by promoting professionalism, inclusiveness, and civility; by providing educational, social, and leadership opportunities, and by encouraging meaningful engagement between the federal practitioner, the judiciary, and the public they serve.

The San Diego FBA partners with USD School of Law each year to offer complimentary membership to new alumni Bar members.
