SAN DIEGO (June 27, 2022) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law alumnus, Pramode Chiruvolu ’13 (JD), was recently named a 2022 Rising Star in Technology by Law360. The recognition comes on the heels of Chiruvolu and his team representing Activision in its $75 billion acquisition by Microsoft.

Chiruvolu is an intellectual property and technology counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP where he represents clients in transactional matters. Chiruvolu began his career with Skadden in 2013 as a general litigator. However, he chose to pivot to transactional work in order to work more closely with clients on their tech-related initiatives and help them achieve their business-related goals.

Chiruvolu’s representative transactional matters include, among many others, Elon Musk in his pending $44 billion acquisition of Twitter Inc., BuzzFeed Inc. in its acquisition of HuffPost, and the Intel Corporation in various acquisitions and joint ventures.
