This is your USD News Minute.

The month of November is a special time of remembrance, beginning with the Feasts of All Saints and All Souls on Nov. 1 and 2. A mass will be held both days at 12:15 p.m. in Founders Chapel. On November 2nd, we also remember those lost to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Celebration of Life will be held in-person and live-streamed in Founders Chapel at 5p.m.

The Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges: 2022 Edition just ranked USD among the  top 50 green colleges. As a matter of fact, we rank 13 out of more than 400 institutions. This designation is given to universities that have shown a commitment to sustainability from academics to student involvement and campus operations.

The San Diego Press Club is recognizing our student journalists from USD TV and The Vista. The work of Alexandra Karos, Aidan Jacobs-Walker and Baylynne Brunetti placed 1st in the competition, followed by Eli Roberts and Taylor de Guzman who took home second and third place respectively.

As always, thank you for watching. We’ll see you next week.
