This is your USD News Minute.

The Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice was awarded a $500,000 grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. As part of the grant, Kroc IPJ will lead a two-year project focused on understanding the future of convening in a post-pandemic world and collaboration in the peace and security space. 

This week is Homecoming and Family week here at USD. Festivities include Torero Tuesday, Legacy Pinning Ceremony, Alumni Honors, Fabulous Torero Casino Night, Big Blue Bash Student Concert, Torero Tailgate, Torero Football vs. Drake, and Alumni and Family Mass.

And on Thursday, October 14th, you can take a behind-the-scenes tour of the construction of the Knauss Center for Business Education, led by USD’s School of Business dean, Tim Keane. The 120,000-square-foot complex will reflect the future of business education at the School of Business. Be sure to RSVP for the event.
