This is your USD News Minute.
Engineering professor Odesma Dalrymple is being recognized by the San Diego Business Journal as a Woman of Influence in Engineering. Through her summer STEAM academies and classroom projects, Professor Dalrymple engages the wider San Diego community in engineering with a social justice approach. You can check out an interview with Professor Dalrymple on the News Center to learn more.
With the start of Holy Week, USD Hillel and University Ministry will host an interfaith social justice passover seder on Tuesday, March 30. And later in the week, University Ministry will be sharing written reflections for Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. Finally, for information about masses and services on campus, please visit The Immaculata’s website.
And as we look to Spring Break, it’s important to remind our campus community to remain vigilant and to keep following health and safety measures in order to ensure we can continue moving in the right direction as a campus. Courses will be held remotely for the week following Spring Break and weekly COVID-19 testing will be required for those living on or visiting our campus.
As always, thank you for watching. We’ll see you next week.
