This is your USD News Minute.
We may not be together on campus yet but you can still remain connected to your campus community by participating in this year’s virtual Alcalá Bazaar. On February 9 and 11 students can view the E-catalog to explore and discover campus clubs and organizations — a perfect way to stay involved at USD.
February 11 also kicks off the start of the seven-week speaker series, "Cry of the Earth, Cry of the Poor," celebrating the 5th anniversary of Care for our Common Home (Laudato Si). The series will take place on Thursday evenings and will address environmental issues through various different lenses. Participants may register for the entire series or for individual dates.
And the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science will be hosting two virtual events to discuss the complex issue of vaccine hesitancy and COVID-19. The sessions will take place on February 9 and 10 at 5 p.m. They’re both free and open to the public but registration is required.
As always thank you for watching, we’ll see you next week.
