As we bring key academic and residential elements of our community back to campus in a limited fashion, we want to ensure we are all in this together. Take the student pledge found on our Torero Blueprint website to protect the health and safety of our community. Remember that students on campus are required to test for COVID-19 and staff are strongly encouraged. The next staff testing opportunity will take place in early October.
The School of law’s legal clinics continue to serve the community in a big way. The Federal Tax Clinic just saved three local women more than 300 thousand dollars in the largest consecutive win in the Federal Tax Clinic's 21 year history. There are 14 other clinics total so plenty of work to be done by our dedicated law students. Visit their website to get involved.
And don’t miss out on the Humanities Center’s series: “Care for Our Common Home: Environmental Justice and Sustainability Across Disciplines.” The series is held on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. starting September 29.
As always thank you for watching, see you next week.
