Video transcript

This is your USD News Minute.

USD welcomed a limited number of students to campus this past weekend. The experience will be much different from years past, supported by special precautions, including a single-occupancy housing model for students and continued remote work for a majority of our faculty, staff and administrators. Full details, including operating hours for campus buildings and services, can be found on our Torero BluePrint website.

National Voter’s Registration Day is this Tuesday. Do you know how to get your ballot and make sure it’s counted in the upcoming election? Stop by a virtual event with volunteers from USD Votes to get answers, and make sure that your voice is heard this election.

And to help those who don’t have access to nutritious food, we invite you to participate in Homelessness and Food Insecurity Action Week. Come learn about food insecurity challenges, and learn how to address them in a meaningful way. Preregister on the university’s events page to attend.

As always thank you for watching, we’ll see you next week.
