The Joan B. Kroc School of Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego is putting together a visual exhibit, “Inside Out: Stories of Protest and Pandemic,” which highlights the resilience of our community.

In 2020, a year marked with collective efforts to protect public health and fight racial injustice, the Kroc School is trying to capture those who have raised their voices and taken to the street against long-standing injustices and those who chose self-reflection.

The Kroc School invites you to submit your own photographic portrait, taken during these extraordinary times, which reflects one of the following themes:

• Life During Lockdown: Provide a snapshot of life during the pandemic which capture the spirit, mood, hopes, fears and feelings as we continue to deal with COVID-19.

• Rejecting Racism and Injustice: Snapshots of the struggle for justice and equality.

The Kroc School is committed to the transformative action needed to build a safe and healthy world for everyone.

Images will be showcased in an online virtual gallery and a selection of photos will be displayed in the Kroc School Exhibit hallways. All entries must be submitted by 6 p.m. Pacific on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
