Video: USD in the News Highlights Reel for April

April was a time of continued lockdown for many across the country. But that didn't keep University of San Diego professors from contributing to news coverage.

Watch a video highlight reel of USD's media appearances over the past month:

USD faculty contributed their expertise to stories on how COVID-19 is impacting local businesses, employment, the environment, border issues, leadership, philanthropy and more. Many employees, students and alumni are also finding creative ways to give back by feeding hospital workers, sewing masks for essential employees, and transporting much-needed food around the county.

USD was also in the news for reasons other than COVID-19. Former Torero QB Reid Sinnett signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Andrew Nosal responded to news of a local shark encounter, and a School of Law alumnus was made acting Secretary of the U.S. Navy.

The Media Relations team maintains an archive of media coverage of the University of San Diego — visit the USD in the News web page. We’re always looking to expand our experts lists. USD faculty who want to be added to our directory for the news media can connect with us by emailing press@sandiego.edu.
