SAN DIEGO (November 27, 2019) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law alumna Bibianne Fell, ’04 (JD), earned the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego’s Outstanding Trial Lawyer award.

Fell was awarded for her work in the case Kali v. Young, in which Young falsely pushed his non-medical treatments as a cure for cancer. The fraudulent treatments allowed Kali’s cancer to progress from stage one to stage four, resulting in a large accumulation of medical expenses. Fell’s work lead to a $105 million settlement to cover Kali’s medical expenses and other non-economic damages.

Currently, Fell is a partner with the Gomez Trial Attorneys law firm where she practices in medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is one of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers. Fell received her Juris Doctor from USD School of Law. She also teaches Advanced Trial Advocacy at USD School of Law.
