USD and Warwick’s Present an Evening with Bestselling Author Admiral William H. McRaven
The University of San Diego’s College of Arts and Sciences in collaboration with Warwick’s Books will host the #1 New York Times bestselling author Admiral William H. McRaven who will be presenting his second book, Sea Stories: My Life in Special Forces.
His latest work follows the critically acclaimed first book Make Your Bed, which has sold over one million copies. This new project sheds light on Admiral McRaven’s impressive 37-year career as a commander at every level of the U.S. Navy. His last assignment as a Four-Star Admiral, was as Commander of all U.S. Special Operations Forces.
Admiral McRaven was instrumental in orchestrating some of the most famous missions in recent memory, including the capture of Saddam Hussein, the rescue of Captain Richard Phillips and the raid to kill Osama bin Laden. Sea Stories is action-packed, humorous, and full of valuable life lessons, a remarkable memoir from one of America’s most accomplished leaders.
