Video: Sr. Tobie Tondi Reflects on Vatican Summit on the Protection of Minors in the Church
In February of 2019, leaders of the Catholic Church convened in Rome with Pope Francis to address the "Protection of Minors in the Church." In this video, Sr. Tobie Tondi describes the background behind the summit, how she helped contribute to a presentation by her society leader, Sr. Veronica Openibo, SHCJ, and how she hopes students continue to be engaged around the current crisis.
Sr. Tobie Tondi, SHCJ, STD, is a recently retired professor of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of San Diego and a member of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.
The University of San Diego has created a website to provide resources and address the crisis.
