USD Master’s in Supply Chain Management Program Ranked #2 in California and Top 25 in North America

The University of San Diego Master’s in Supply Chain program is among the top programs in North America, and 2nd best in California, according to Gartner Inc.’s 2018 rankings.

USD’s supply chain master’s program ranked 25th on the list highlighting those with the best curricula, real-world experience and industry reputations. Eighty-eight supply chain programs in the U.S. and Canada were considered for this ranking.  

According to Gartner, supply chain leaders can use this information to select the right portfolio of university partners that will strengthen early-career and experienced-hire pipelines.

“We are very excited that our faculty’s and staff’s ongoing efforts to provide the highest-quality supply chain program in southern California has been recognized by Gartner,” said University of San Diego School of Business Dean Jaime Gómez.

USD’s program offers the latest in world-class practices in logistics, sourcing, sustainability and other topics to efficiently deliver goods and services. Through a flexible, mostly online format, professionals looking to advance in their supply chain careers can learn at their own pace and continue to work regular business hours. The program can be completed in 24 months and requires only five visits to the USD campus.

“Through our program, students’ capstone projects are designed to save their organizations a minimum of $50,000 and up to several million dollars,” added Mary Long, Managing Director of the University of San Diego Supply Chain Management Institute. “Eighty-two percent of graduates’ report receiving a salary increase within three months of completing the program, further reflecting the value of their degree.”  

Gartner’s rankings were based on scores in program scope, industry value and program size.
