Eric Jiang, PhD, is a professor of Computer Science at USD's Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering. His research has been in information retrieval, data analytics, machine learning, parallel and distributed computing. He has published a book "Nonlinear Numerical Analysis and Optimization" and research papers in journals and edited books. He has also given presentations at international conferences, workshops and technology research centers. Dr. Jiang has been serving on the editorial board of International Journal of Intelligent Data Analysis and as a reviewer for multiple journals. In addition, he has served on organizing committees of numerous international conferences on information retrieval, machine learning, intelligent modeling and applications.
