The first event of the Ahlers Center for International Business Speaker Series this spring features Mary Ann Brennan, chief operating officer of 9thwonder and owner at Alpha St8 Consulting.

Over the last year, we’ve seen widespread global attention on the critical function of supply chains to companies and consumers.  In this presentation, Mary Ann will share her experience overseeing procurement teams for global companies with $5 - $85 billion in revenue. She will further discuss the importance of understanding organizational structure, how direct and indirect procurement play an essential role in an organization, and best practices for navigating in a complex and uncertain global business environment.

Mary Ann is an advertising/marketing, global supply chain/operations, and sales leader with experience in consumer packaged goods, retail, telecommunications, non-profit, entertainment, financial services and advertising.

She has her own consulting firm, Alpha St8 Consulting, and serves as the chief operating officer for 9thwonder, a small, independent advertising agency with 8 locations and nearly 250 employees globally.
