Join us for this brown bag lunch and presentation with Loida Carriel Espinoza, Deputy Director of Paz y Esperanza’s branch in Ecuador where she also serves as a social communicator and a journalist, and Colleen Beebe Purisaca, Co-International Director of Peace and Hope International.

Established in Peru in 1996, Paz y Esperanza is a leader in promoting and defending human rights with local, regional and international impact. It has a track record of promoting social justice from a faith perspective, notably in conflict resolution, building the capacity of the church to promote justice, advocating for the rights of indigenous communities and exploited persons, and combating violence against women and children. The organization was instrumental in helping establish the Peruvian Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Micah Network, a worldwide coalition of over 500 Christian justice organizations.
