Details

In Spring 2013, 14 undergraduates collaborated to create an exhibition that re-examined USD's growing print collection according to the priorities of its students. This fall, a completely different group of students have been asked to create temporary installations based on the permanent collection and selected loans from a prominent private collector, Robert Getscher, who lives in Cleveland. The results will challenge all who visit the Hoehn Family Galleries throughout the fall. Compelling works by a diverse group of artists Marcantonio Raimondi, Jacques Villon, and Anton Wurth have been re-interpreted by students, all of whom were enrolled in Victoria Sancho Lobis's seminar on the History of Prints last term.
