Hiring managers and even those gainfully employed are often curious about the mechanics behind corporate recruiting. During her presentation, Rachelle will provide insights on ways U.S. and multi-national companies go to market in search of talent, look at the application process through the eyes of the recruiter, and describe frequently used candidate evaluation methods. She will also offer tips and tricks for job seekers to successfully brand themselves to stand out in the crowd.

 

Speaker Biography:

Rachelle Snook originates from Perth, Western Australia. In her current role as the Global Talent Acquisition Manager at the WD-40 Company she partners with global leaders in the design and delivery of talent acquisition strategies, forecasts, candidate identification and evaluation to create and sustain the competitive advantage gained by attracting and engaging desirable talent for global offices. Over the past 15 years Rachelle has recruited for a very wide range of positions at all levels across a variety of industries to include: biotech/pharmaceutical, human resources, service, hospitality, manufacturing, banking, CPG, technology, not-for-profit, etc. In the global marketplace she has identified talent throughout U.S., Australia, Italy, New Zealand, Korea, China, UK, Canada, France, Malaysia and South Africa. Rachelle graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and holds the HR Certification from Chapman University.
