USD's One Challenge is focused on the environment, wasteful production and consumption. This outdoor photography display showcases some of the iconic landscapes of our western national parks: Zion, Bryce, Joshua Tree, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Death Valley, Channel Islands and Yellowstone. Journey through the lens of Will Rochfort '04 and Mark Ceder (Outdoor Adventures). Learn about how our national parks are leading the charge against wasteful production and consumption in their quest to be more sustainable and combat climate change. "Reduce, Reuse, Refill" is the mantra of Zion and Grand Canyon National Parks. Both have banned the sale of plastic water bottles and installed water bottle refilling stations around the park. Others wish to follow their lead, but bringing about change is not a simple process.
Outdoor Adventures has been inspiring the USD community to care about the environment for over 25 years through adventure trips to some of the west's most beautiful, remote and pristine locales.
