Assistant Dean, Law School Development & Alumni Relations
As Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations for the law school, Debbie is responsible for leading all facets of fund development, including cultivating major donors, directing annual fundraising and special events, soliciting corporate and planned giving, and driving campaign support for scholarships, academic programs, funding priorities, and infrastructure. Debbie is an accomplished, results-driven development professional with proven fundraising skills for educational and non-profit organizations. Previously, she served as Board Chair, followed by Chief Development Officer of Girl Scouts San Diego, where she directed a $1.5 million capital campaign to build a new cabin on the Girl Scouts campus. Prior to that role, Debbie served as the Associate Director of Development for the USD School of Law, where she cultivated major donors, solicited annual giving, and increased the number of law firms participating in the Law Firm Challenge, as well as supported the Board of Visitors. Debbie brings experience, enthusiasm, and strategic thinking to the Office of Law School Development and Alumni Relations.
