USD Athletics Engages with Linda Vista Community A good idea starts with asking a simple, yet important, question: “How can I get to know the Linda Vista community better?” stated Bill McGillis, USD’s Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Athletics. Emerging PeaceMakers: The Social Fabric Initiative (SFI) SFI is committed to providing a platform for youth voice and leadership, fostering relationships and bridging divides, and engaging youth from all walks of life as agents for change. SFI has officially launched at USD and is actively seeking high school students to be volunteers for the summer, working directly with university level interns and professionals in the field. USD Electronics Recycling Center: If It Plugs In or Takes A Charge, We Can Take It! Are you tired of all those old computer monitors and hard drives taking up space in your house? Maybe even a VCR? Did you know that USD has an Electronics Recycling Center (ERC) that can take all those items and give you a tax deductible receipt? If it plugs in or takes a charge, the ERC can take it! But, did you also know that you can shop at the center (or its ebay site) for electronics?
