USD Welcomes the Most Diverse and Highest Achieving Class Yet!

You may have noticed that school is back in session at USD. Beginning on Aug. 31, 2018, faculty, staff and administrators, along with fellow students, welcomed the highest academically-achieving first-year class in USD's history with an average SAT score of 1230 and GPA of 3.81. According to USD Admissions, this is also one of the largest and most diverse classes ever with over 40% of students identifying as a student of color. USD is committed to creating a community that reflects the world around us and the breadth and depth of this year's class reflects that commitment.

As we move full swing into the fall semester, we welcome our neighbors to come see what USD is all about: root on the Toreros in volleyball, football, soccer, swimming and cross country, take a stroll along Paseo de Colachis or attend a lecture through Bridges Academy. Whether it is your first visit to campus or a return visit, we welcome you!
