Senior Web Administrator
In this position I oversee the forward facing web systems that comprise the www.sandiego.edu website complex which houses the six school and College websites and 130+ department websites. I also oversee the mailing list server, Mass Mail, Find People and other supporting systems.
I support users in various roles related to web publishing (files and home), document storage and delivery (catcher) and site publishing (cms and guin).
I also support Library systems automation, developing tool plugins and file creation and transport of student and faculty information to populate our Library systems as changes occur to enrollment and hiring.
My primary skillset is in software and application development using PHP and MySQL with an eye to high-volume transaction processing. I also develop in several other languages and perform system administration duties on an as-needed basis.
