Sean Green is the Assistant Dean for Community Engagements in Spirituality, Mental Health, and Catholic Education. Sean’s responsibilities include program development and oversight in established programs within SOLES including the Academy of Catholic Teaching (ACT), the Black InGenious Initiative (BiGI), and the Pontem Path (a catholic college bridge program).
A proud graduate of USD's school counseling program with an MA, Sean also received his doctorate from USD in higher educational leadership.
In addition to his responsibilities as an Assistant Dean, Sean also serves in the Counseling department as a Lecturer II. To date he has taught COUN - 507, COUN - 564, COUN - 510, COUN - 520, and COUN - 530.
Sean's research interests include college readiness, program implementation in education, and self efficacy for first generation college students.
