- Melissa received her Master of Arts in Postsecondary Educational Leadership & Student Affairs from San Diego State University (SDSU). She is also an alumna of the University of San Diego (USD), where she majored in Sociology and Communication Studies. As a Latina and first-generation student from Los Angeles, Melissa discovered her passion for education and student affairs during her time at USD and SDSU. She has worked in residential education and career services, and is eager to translate her skills into new student programs at USD. Outside of work she enjoys reading, crafting, listening to music, and going to the movies with her friends.
