The Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice (KIPJ) building is home to the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies, the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice and the Trans-Border Institute. It is located on the University of San Diego (USD) campus in San Diego, California.

Driving Directions

From the North

1. Use I-5 South, exit at Sea World Drive and Tecolote Road.
2. Turn Left onto Tecolote Road.
3. Turn Right onto Morena Blvd.
4. Turn Left on Napa Street.
5. Turn Left onto Linda Vista Road.
6. At first first stoplight turn Left onto Marian Way, USD's West Entrance.
7. Stop at the information kiosk and obtain a parking permit.
8. Visitors may take the campus tram to the venue or walk up the hill.
   

From the South

1. Use I-5 North to I-8 East (sign will say Morena Blvd. use I-8 East) and exit Morena Blvd.
2. Stay to the Right and follow signs for Morena Blvd.
3. Bear Right onto Linda Vista Road.
4. At second stoplight, turn Left onto Marian Way, USD's West Entrance.
5. Stop at the information kiosk and obtain a parking permit.
6. Visitors may take the campus tram to the venue or walk up the hill.
   

From the East

1. Use I-8 West, exit at Morena Blvd.
2. Bear Right onto Linda Vista Road.
3. At second stoplight, turn Left onto Marian Way, USD's West Entrance.
4. Stop at the information kiosk and obtain a parking permit.
5. Visitors may take the campus tram to the venue or walk up the hill.
   

Parking

Visitors must obtain a parking permit from the information kiosks at either entrance to the campus (denoted with an "i" on the map).

During the semester (late January-May and September-December) all visitors park in the West Parking Lot and take a campus tram to the venue or walk up the hill. The KIPJ is the first building on the right at the top of the hill. All other times of the year, parking is available in the garage under the KIPJ and on adjacent streets. Always park in white lined spaces ONLY or you may be fined/towed.

If you are attending a meeting or special event, plan extra time to find parking.
