Do you plan to watch the night sky light up with colorful displays in celebration of the United States of America’s 237th birthday this Thursday, July 4? Do you want to do so while avoiding the hassles of crowded beach or park or worse, watching them from your car as you continue to search for that elusive parking spot?
The School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES) and the University of San Diego Alumni Association are teaming up to host a Fourth of July Celebration with great views of multiple San Diego city fireworks shows. This free event runs from 8:30 to 10 p.m.
Mother Rosalie Hill Hall’s west terrace overlooks San Diego from Mission Bay to downtown. The site provides a great vantage point for three fireworks shows throughout the evening, the highlight of which is sure to be the 20-minute Sea World fireworks show, which begins at 9:30 p.m.
SOLES and the USD Alumni Association will host light snacks and bottles of water for all pre-registered guests. There will be plenty of space to set up your own chairs or blankets and ample parking available in the garage below MRHH.
This is an excellent opportunity for Toreros to return to their alma mater for a fun, festive family event.
