The show, which is being broadcast live from University of San Diego’s Shiley Theatre from 7 to 9 p.m. (Pacific/10 p.m. Eastern), will feature panelists discussing issues including Arizona’s immigration law and its effects on national progress, the influence of the Latino voting block on the 2010 midterm elections and if the American Dream is still attainable for new generations of immigrants.
Panelists for the show include actress/activist Rosario Dawson, co-founder of the United Farm Workers of America Dolores Huerta, Telemundo’s Jose Diaz Balart, Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles Executive Director Alfonso Aguilar and Democratic strategist and pollster Celinda Lake.
David Shirk, a USD political science professor and director of USD’s TransBorder Institute will also be part of the show.
