The MSGL prepares students to succeed in the global arena by emphasizing the principles of ethical leadership, best business practices, and respect for cultural, political, and economic differences.

The Master of Science in Global Leadership Program uses a blended learning model that combines traditional classroom instruction with on-line learning to provide a cutting edge global business leadership degree.

The MSGL program is a 16-month, 31-unit curriculum designed to develop strong and ethical business leaders, a respect for the key role that culture plays in the economic and political arenas, and best business practices. The MSGL Program also includes a seven credit, three course concentration on Project Management in the international arena, which leads to a USD certificate in Project Management upon graduation.

Participants in the MSGL Program begin with a month of work on-line and at home in preparation for an intensive one-week session on the University of San Diego campus. During the next several months, students regularly complete on-line assignments mixed with monthly weekend classroom sessions. Participants then gather for a final one-week session on campus, culminating in a capstone exercise and graduation from the program. Students living outside the San Diego area may complete all courses between the first and final weeks via distance and on-line learning means.
