Hahn School of Nursing & Health Science » Prospective Students » Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Program » BSN to PhD Program

BSN to PhD Program

Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent may apply for admission to the accelerated BSN to PhD Program in Nursing with an area of emphasis in Executive Nurse Leadership. Students are required to complete a minimum of 18 units of coursework from the Master of Science, Executive Nurse Leader Program and a total of 51 units in the PhD Program. The curriculum will be designed according to the individual student’s area of research and individual career goals. Students will complete a total of 69 units to be awarded the MSN and PhD degrees.
