Professional Experience
Stout is a partner at the law firm of Knobbe Martens Olsen & Bear in San Diego, where she practices in many areas of intellectual property law including patent prosecution, litigation and licensing. Prior to law school, Stout was a surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy. She is registered to practice with the U.S. Patent Trademark Office.
Professor Stout co-teaches Patent Law.
Honors and Affiliations
Stout served as editor-in-chief of the San Diego Law Review. She graduated from USD School of Law magna cum laude as a member of the Order of the Coif.
