The LRC provides a variety of services to meet the academic and research needs of its patrons.
Study Room Reservations
USD law and paralegal students can reserve study rooms up to fourteen days in advance. Each student can reserve a study room for up to three hours per day.
Printing and Scanning in the LRC
The LRC has three printers on the USD wēpa service. All USD students have a wēpa account already connected to their USDOne credentials but need to sign in before printing. The LRC also has a traditional scanner and a microform-to-PDF machine.
Computer and Accessory Items for Check Out
USD students can check out laptops, phone chargers, headphones, dry erase markers, and other accessories at the Circulation Desk.
Library Account
LRC patrons can log in to their library account to review checked-out materials, request renewals, place holds on materials in the stacks or checked out to another patron, and save favorite materials and searches.
Reserves and Study Aids
The LRC provides access to many materials to help students study and prepare for class. Our physical reserve shelf holds our print study aids and our textbook collection, including all required 1L textbooks and textbooks from selected upper division classes. The LRC also offers online study aids and some past exams electronically.
