Professor Andreu-von Euw teaches Privacy Law.
Professional Experience
Professor Andreu-von Euw works for Morrison & Foerster and practices in intellectual property disputes and commercial litigation, with a focus on patent and trade secrets litigation. Prior to his legal career, he worked in both the U.S. and Germany as an electrical engineer, designing products for the telecommunications and broadcast video industries. He also served as an extern to the Honorable Stephen Hillman, Chief Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the Honorable Laurence Rubin, Associate Justice, California Court of Appeals.
Honors and Affiliations
Professor Andreu-von Euw has been recognized for his pro bono work, including Casa Cornelia with its La Mancha Award in 2013 and Morrison & Foerster with the Kathi Pugh Award for Pro Bono Service in 2017. He is a member of the San Diego IP Lawyers Association and on the Board of Governors for the San Diego chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL). Professor Andreu-von Euw also serves on advisory boards for USD’s Integrated Engineering Program and the Crawford High School Academy of Law. San Diego Super Lawyers recognized him as a Rising Star in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
