The perfect event requires the perfect space in which to host the event. The USD School of Law and the University of San Diego have made several classrooms, conference rooms and other venues across campus available for event reservations. Check out venue options at the School of Law or various other schools across the University to find the right venue for your next event.
Reserving a Space
Factors to consider in choosing an event space:
- Realistic size of audience (a mostly empty theater does not leave a positive impression)
- Availability of the venue to accommodate space for registration and sponsor tables
- A/V needs (podia, recording capability, seating arrangement)
- Catering (food is prohibited in many event spaces)
- Funding (many of the popular event venues on campus charge for rental and resource needs, particularly outside of business hours)
Small Classrooms
Depending on the size, small classrooms generally seat between 24 and 66 people. All small classrooms are wheelchair accessible and come equipped with a computer, projector and projector screen.
Large Classrooms
Depending on the size, large classrooms generally seat between 90 and 110 people and are set up with tiered seating. All large classrooms are wheelchair accessible and come equipped with a computer, projector and projector screen.
Grace Courtroom
Grace Courtroom is the mock courtroom at the USD School of Law. The venue that plays host to USD Law’s various mock trial and client advocacy teams, Grace Courtroom is available for reservation for select events.
University Event Spaces
Several other spaces are available for reservation around the University of San Diego. Reservation requests for these spaces are reviewed by the University, rather than by the School of Law. Visit the University’s venue page to request to one of the University’s event spaces.
