Nordson Corporation
David Padgett is the Director of Technology for the Electronic Processing Systems Division of Nordson Corporation, based in Carlsbad, CA. He is responsible for the research and development of new, integrated mechanical, electrical and software solutions for the EPS division precision dispense and surface treatment products. For the previous eight years he was the Director of Engineering for Asymtek Products at Nordson. Other positions held within Nordson are Business Unit Manager for the Asymtek Fabrication Factory as well as Engineering Manager in other development and manufacturing support areas.
He has eleven patents for mechanical and system designs completed as a Mechanical Engineer for Nordson Corporation and previous engineering roles. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and has served as Treasurer and Chair of the San Diego Section of the ASME. Mr. Padgett received his BSME from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA.
