The intersection of veterans and engineering
"I led a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant for looking at why those who have been military veterans choose to do undergraduate degrees in engineering... The NSF is interested in this because we have a need for people to go into fields like engineering and we have all these people who have served our country and are trying to figure out what their next mission is and we help to connect these dots."
— Susan Lord, Chair of Integrated Engineering
