Scholarship Opportunities
There are a variety of scholarship opportunities available to students through the University of San Diego and through USD’s Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering. Scholarships managed by the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering are typically reserved for students in their junior and senior years of study. We encourage you to explore the information in each section below to learn how to find and apply for scholarships.
Tuition
At the University of San Diego, all students have a right to an education, regardless of income. The majority of both undergraduate and graduate students receive some form of financial assistance through scholarships, grants, loans and employment.
The Undergraduate Educational Cost for the engineering and computer science programs at the University of San Diego's Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering can be found by visiting USD's Student Financial Services and includes tuition, fees, housing, health insurance, meal plans and other associated expenditures. For answers to questions or concerns about fees or financial aid, contact the Torero Hub.
Financial Aid
While the Office of Financial Aid (OFA) staff answers questions related to financial aid, the Torero Hub staff answers financial aid questions and provides many services related to several different USD departments — Financial Aid, Student Accounts and Registrar — all in one convenient place! The Torero Hub is located in the Hahn University Center, Room 126, or can be reached by calling (619) 260-2700.
Free informational guides are updated annually to help students and parents understand the financial aid system, and to apply/reapply early for important priority deadlines. See resources on the OFA website for the guides and other important information.
